The other day with Mr Lenko we were learning about meteorites in the sandpit. We used a big ball, a small ball and an acorn. We were looking at the diferent craters they made when Mr Lenko threw the big ball it made a small looking crater and when Mr Lenko threw the small ball it made a deep crater. Then Mr Lenko threw the acorn it had a very small and deep crater.
We learnt that meteors burn up as they come through the Earths atmosphere whereas the moon has meteors landing on it hence all the craters.
